England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

We are here in August so Lyme Park's flowers are all out in the formal gardens and make a lovely display. The original gadens were layed out in the late 1800s and early 1900s. There is a lot of history here. We read that they used to host meetings of the Cheshire Club dedicated to returning James II to the throne (ousted in 1688).
